Art for the community
I’ve always felt that art has the power to bring people together, which is why I’m passionate about supporting communities through creativity. To me, communities are strongest when everyone feels seen and connected, and art is a beautiful way to make that happen. Whether it’s transforming a wall with color, creating a space for people to express themselves, or simply adding beauty to everyday places, art can uplift, inspire, and make environments feel more welcoming. I love being part of that process—helping to create spaces that reflect the spirit of a community and remind people of the beauty they share.

Painting The Green Cafe

I was fortunate to be invited by The Green, Nunhead community centre in South East London to create hand-painted murals in the Green café. This project allowed me to contribute to a space where people regularly gather and connect. I chose to complete the murals entirely by hand, as I felt this would bring a unique and personal energy to the environment. The artworks were designed to celebrate nature, which I believe connects us all, while also reflecting the beautiful garden that is such an important part of the community centre. Through these murals, my hope was to create a sense of harmony between the café and its surroundings, while adding warmth and inspiration to the space for everyone who visits.

Workshops and exhibition curation
I created free, hands-on workshops at the BRIT school where teenagers could design and craft their own wearable art, using fashion as a medium for self-expression and storytelling. These workshops encouraged students to explore identity, creativity, and confidence through making. Alongside this, I curated the BRIT schools Interactive Digital Design department’s annual show, a dynamic exhibition that brought together the work of the entire cohort — from GCSE to A-Level — and celebrated the breadth of student creativity. The showcase was brought to life with the inclusion of the wearable art pieces, transforming the exhibition into an immersive and expressive experience.
